The 1961 May Queen was Sally Horton and she was from Farrell, Pennsylvania. She was Pledge Trainer for Delta Zeta sorority, part of the W.R.A. Cabinet, and a member of Sigma Delta Phi. She was Vice President of the junior class, Chairman of the Election Board of Student Council, and Co-Chairman of the May Day Steering Committee.
