Marjorie Deutsch was 20 years old when she was elected May Queen in 1948. She was from Shaker Heights, Ohio and was a business administration major at BW. She was also a part of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and was Business Manager for the Exponent, BW's school newspaper.
