Opal Ayland majored in French at Baldwin Wallace University. She was May Queen in 1930 and was a member of Gamma Sigma. She was also Secretary for Gamma Sigma, part of the Modern Language Club, Education Club, Writers Club, Hikers Club, B.W. Letter Woman's Club, Basketball Intra-Mural, and Orchestra.
